Your fractional growth and exit team.
Everyone and everything you need to build a highly valuable business and exit for millions. One team. One plan. One number that tells you exactly where you stand.
You would need to hire seven people to get this.
Most owners piece it together. A coach here, an accountant there, a CFO when they can afford one. None of them talk to each other, and none of them are measured on what your business is worth. We bring all of it into one team in your corner.

These are the five things that quietly take value out of a business while the owner waits for the right time. Four of them you can fix, but only with time. The fifth you cannot control at all.
1 IN 5AI is repricing entire industries
One in five strategic dealmakers say they have walked away from a deal over the expected impact of AI on the target (Bain and Company, 2026 M&A Report). Buyers now screen for AI exposure before they bid. A strong business today can be worth a fraction of that in a few years if its industry gets repriced and the owner did nothing.

Graphic design firms built whole businesses on logos, websites, and marketing pieces. That work can now be produced in minutes for a few dollars instead of a few thousand. SEO and content agencies, IT services, and routine bookkeeping are facing the same question.
We have watched owners in our own networking groups fight it and take their businesses to zero. The ones who moved early, sold, adapted, or built an AI-enabled version, protected their value.

One customer can cost you millions
Once one customer passes 30% of revenue, buyers discount hard, hold back part of the price in earn-outs, or lenders walk away.
A commercial plumbing company had more than 30% of revenue with one customer. Their CPA told them the business was worth $8 million. The valuation came in at $6.2 million because of that concentration, and the banks would not lend past about $6 million.
On bad counsel, the owners decided the number was far too low. They held on, ran the business into the ground, and shut it down. They left $6.2 million on the table.
1-2XIf it runs through you, it is worth less
Owner dependence costs one to two full turns of EBITDA. If the business cannot run without the owner, the buyer is buying a job, and pays far less for it.

A manufacturer we are working with was two weeks from closing when the bank declined the loan. The reason was key-person risk. Too much of the business lived in the owner's head, and the bank did not believe a new owner could take it over.
We see some version of this in nearly every business we meet.

Messy books get repriced at the worst moment
Earnings a buyer cannot verify get cut in diligence, after the owner is already committed to the sale and has the least leverage.
A blue-collar infrastructure company we recently closed had books kept by an 86-year-old CPA, mostly on paper and QuickBooks desktop. No clean quality of earnings could be built, so buyers could not substantiate the numbers and had to recast the financials themselves.
That meant fewer buyers, less negotiating power, and a substantially lower price. This happens every time add-backs and EBITDA cannot be proven.
4X VS 17XThe market decides, not you
Two businesses with the same earnings can be worth double or half, purely on timing and where buyers think each industry is heading. You control readiness. You do not control the window.

A single-owner plumbing shop sells around 4 to 5 times EBITDA. Large home-services platforms trade far higher. In February 2026, Blackstone agreed to buy Champions Group, a residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical platform, in a deal press reports valued at about $2.5 billion. Nothing about the work changed. Buyer demand did.
Meanwhile, content and social marketing agencies have slid to roughly 2.5 to 4 times as AI takes over the deliverable. Same earnings. A different world.
Do the work with us and we do not stop until your business is more valuable and more ready to sell. If it is not, we keep working. No new invoice. That is our word.
Self-serve members get a 30-day money-back window. If it is not for you, we refund you. No hard feelings.
Our advisory hours are real and they are limited. The founding cohort is capped at 25 businesses across the We Do It Together tiers. Founding pricing is locked for life. The price rises for the next cohort, and we will hold that line.
The self-serve operating system stays open to everyone.
We are human. We want to hear from you.
The technology works quietly in the background. A real person is always one tap away, on every screen, and you can always choose to talk to us.
